The landscapes and iconography of cowboys, horses and Americana have been an inspiration since Stephen created his Americana series in 2018. The petites feature icons, horses, cacti and many other symbols created with yarn, embroidery and appliqu. The pieces all start with up cycled luxury boxes or shopping bags that are trimmed into the background shape, collaged and then embroidered. The
